In the field of coal mine safety, RFID technology is mainly used for underground personnel and equipment safety monitoring, coal mine locomotive scheduling, and coal enterprise material supply management.

In terms of underground personnel and equipment safety monitoring, RFID technology involves installing readers at intersections of tunnels and working faces, while underground personnel are required to wear belts or safety helmets equipped with responders. Responders can also be installed on suitable underground mobile equipment. The system can record the real-time information of the cardholder or monitored equipment's passing location, time, and activity trajectory through the card number information identified by the reader, enabling real-time monitoring and tracking of underground personnel and equipment. In the event of a safety accident, the monitoring center can quickly locate trapped personnel and equipment, providing strong support for rescue efforts.

In coal mine locomotive scheduling, RFID technology can accurately understand the location of each locomotive at any time, allowing for dynamic adjustment of the departure and arrival times of locomotives at any time, improving their response to unforeseen situations, and enabling intelligent centralized scheduling of coal mine locomotives. This not only improves the operating efficiency of locomotives but also reduces the risk of safety accidents.

Additionally, RFID technology plays an important role in material supply management for coal enterprises. By installing electronic tags on materials, it is convenient and fast to track material information, establish a material supply monitoring network, and monitor the transportation, warehousing, loading and unloading, processing, sorting, distribution, scheduling, etc., of enterprise materials in real-time, achieving effective resource integration and improving the level of enterprise material information management.

The application of RFID technology in the field of coal mine safety not only improves the efficiency and accuracy of safety management but also reduces the risk of safety accidents.
